Genesis 5 — Enoch: The Man Who Walked with God

The Generation of Grace
After sin entered the world, Genesis 5 shows that God never abandoned His redemptive plan. Through ordinary people, God continued His Kingdom line through Seth — and in that line, He raised up Enoch.
Christ Revealed
- Enoch walked with God. Jesus is God.
- Enoch escaped death temporarily. Jesus conquered death forever.
- Enoch was taken into heaven. Jesus ascended into heaven after defeating the grave.
Practical Application
Instead of asking, “How long will I live?” ask, “Am I walking with God today?” Because the greatest legacy isn’t a long life. It’s a life that pleased God.
Prayer
Father, teach me not merely to exist, but to walk with You every day. Let my life be remembered, not for achievements, but for intimacy with You. May every step I take bring glory to Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Faith Declaration
I choose to walk with God daily. My intimacy with God is my greatest success. Christ has conquered death. My life will leave a legacy of faith, and I will finish my race walking with God.
